Skolon's Teams widget integrates with Microsoft's APIs to retrieve information about classes, groups, and assignments in the platform. For the widget to function in your organization's Teams tenant, an administrator must approve that Skolon’s Teams widget can call the APIs, also known as "approving scopes."

The steps below must be completed by an admin efore your teachers and students can start using the widget. To complete all steps, you need to be an administrator in Skolon and an administrator in your organization's Teams tenant.

Add the widget "Microsoft Teams assignments" from Skolon's Widget Library and assign it to a user who is an administrator in your organization's Teams tenant. Read more about how to do this in the Assign Widgets to your school.

Click on "Having trouble logging in?" from the Teams widget in the platform.

The following dialog window will open. Click on "Do you have an administrator account? Log in with that account."

A new tab will open where you, as the administrator, need to approve that Skolon’s Teams widget can access data from a number of APIs.

Sign in with your Entra Admin account and accept the permissions for Skolon’s Teams widget, users belonging to your organization can use the Teams widget.
