Licenses ordered through Skolon's Library are delivered by creating licenses in the license management so that a school administrator or organisation administrator can manage them.
In most cases, the licenses have already been assigned before delivery as it is possible to do so directly at the time of purchase, so no further license assignment is needed.
Delivery of licenses purchased through Skolon is done in two different ways:
Direct delivery. Also known as One-click buy
Delayed delivery
Delayed delivery via activation email
Direct delivery - One-click buy
Licenses are created in Skolon immediately upon purchase and become available as soon as the shopping basket has been checked out.
Delayed delivery
Some suppliers need to perform manual handling in connection with your first purchase from their internal systems, or create and assign the licenses manually from their own license management before they are made available in Skolon.
This means that it may take a couple of days before the licenses are delivered and available in Skolon for assignment.
For licenses with delayed delivery, no license assignment can be done in advance directly at the time of purchase, but must be assigned by a Skolon administrator when the licenses have been delivered. All Skolon administrators receive a notification from Skolon when the licenses are available for assignment.
Delayed delivery via activation email
Some suppliers send an activation email containing a link to transfer licenses to Skolon. For each purchase, an email address is required for delivery of licenses.
