Table of contents with deep links

Authors list

Deep links allow you to easily click directly into a link within, for example, digital learning materials, and then share that link with students or colleagues. This way, they can reach a specific page, paragraph, or chapter with a single click.

All tools that have the following addition to their icon have deep links that allow searching within the tool's content:

Click on the icon to get a table of contents with chapters and sections.

Via the search bar, you can search for specific sections, then scroll to view content without opening the tool. If you wish to open a specific section, click on the link.

To share a chapter or section, click on the share icon. You can then share in the following ways:

  • Copy to clipboard: A link is automatically copied that you can then paste into, for example, an email or document.

  • Send to user: Send the tool directly to another user in Skolon.

  • Share to Classroom: If your school has a connection to Google Classroom, you can share the link directly from your collection to Classroom. The connection needs to be activated by the school's Skolon administrator.

  • Share to Teams: If your school has a connection to Microsoft Teams, you can share the tool directly from your collection to Teams. The connection needs to be activated by the school's Skolon administrator."

It is also possible to search via My Apps to find relevant sections based on your search and then open the section directly in the tool.
